Description

Unless indicated, all releases are for both the Android and iOS versions of the Datto Networking App.

NOTE  Currently the Android version of the Datto Networking App is unavailable in the Google Play Store.

Improvements

  • Introduced Dark Mode, which is now highlighted in the app store screenshots
  • Moved to PKCE authentication, which prevents would-be attackers from
    using intercepted auth keys
  • Added support for Client User accounts, letting end-users access the
    mobile app
  • Added support for user accounts with Network Editor or Network Viewer roles.
    Users with a Voucher Editor role are not supported and receive a message
    explaining that upon login
  • Added accessibility improvements: buttons, menus, views are identified as
    such for screen readers
  • Smart refresh of only the data needed for a view, reducing load times
    and increasing battery life

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved bugs related to added, deleted, or replaced devices not
    displaying properly until refreshed manually.
  • Various small bug fixes
