Bug Fixes
-
The Secure Edge Windows client will not connect if the date on PC is not accurate. Previously the connection failure was silent with no error messaging. Now it will notify the user of an error due to an incorrect time on the device. Note: the client will still not be able to connect until the device's time has been updated, but it now a specific error is provided for the failure.
-
Secure Edge Windows client logs would fill up and new entries dropped once it has reached 50 MB. Fixed by overwriting the oldest entries when the log is at 50 MB.
Enhancements
-
The Secure Edge Windows client using Always On authentication will no longer wait 5 minutes to connect after install. The client will connect in 1 minute or less.
-
The Secure Edge Windows client can get stuck in a bad state after client files are removed by 3rd party security software. The Secure Edge client will now make backup copies of the current files for troubleshooting purposes. Additionally, the client can be re-approved to allow it to get connected again.
