Bug Fixes

  • Resolved problem where the value of the Corporate Identification inside the Corporate Tunnel page would revert back to IP Address after It was changed to text string and saved.

  • Resolved problem where Tunnel “REKEY” event on the Corporate Tunnel would cause erroneous “Tunnel down” events in the Recent Events table and erroneous email alerts to be generated.

  • Removed “Alpha trial constraint” text from Secure Edge tool tip.

  • Updated web link inside of Secure Edge Quick Start Button and Setting page link to Secure Edge Resources.

  • Fixed the color of text on Subscribers Added page after adding new Subscribers.

Known Problems

  • New orders of DSE421 appliances are not visible inside of Network Manager.

    Workaround: Contact Datto Networking support for them to manually assign the DSE421 to your account. Please have the MAC address of the new appliance ready as this will be required.

  • After installing the Secure Edge Window client via Datto RMM, it does not automatically start and go into Pending Approval state.

    Workaround: Establish a remote session with the Windows machine ahead of installing the Secure Edge Windows client.

  • DSE421 appliances are not leaving the new devices section of the Datto Partner Portal.

  • While “Drop Web Ads & Tracking” is disabled, these events are showing up in the blocked events.

  • The subscriber input field does not remove leading or trailing hidden characters (like spaces).

    Workaround: If you have subscribers with leading or tailing white-space, contact support for them to be removed.

  • The client hostname field will be blank when approving a new client.

    Workaround: Wait 5 minutes as this field will be updated the next time the client checks in.
