New Features

  • The Secure Edge Windows client will now auto start when installed with Datto RMM.

Bug Fixes

  • The Always on Client will no longer disappear from the Provisioning page when the subscriber is removed. It was necessary to uninstall and reinstall the Secure Edge software client when the subscriber was removed. The Always on Software client will now show up as pending and awaiting approval. This fix allow machines to be transferred to a new user with less steps.

  • Fixed issue where a subscriber could be added with leading or trailing whitespace characters. When allowed, if an admin attempted to remove the account, an error could occur:

    Oops... something is not quite right:
    The Datto Remote Access API responded with an error: 1000002
    (160001)

  • DSE421 appliances are now properly leaving the new devices section of the Datto Partner Portal.

Known Problems

  • New orders of DSE421 appliances are not visible inside of Network Manager.

    Workaround: Contact Datto Networking support for them to manually assign the DSE421 to your account. Please have the MAC address of the new appliance ready as this will be required.

  • While “Drop Web Ads & Tracking” is disabled, these events are showing up in the blocked events.

  • The client hostname field will be blank when approving a new client.

    Workaround: Wait 5 minutes as this field will be updated the next time the client checks in.
