New features

  • This release introduces the ability to add port ranges for your switches.

  • You can now configure 10G/1G FDX for SFP ports.

Enhancements

  • Network Manager will show an error and will prevent saving when VLAN ID 4095 or 4096 is provided.

  • We've applied a Global VLAN ID limitation of 256 VLANs for second-generation switches.

  • You can access Bridge Priority and Root Address information on the Switch Settings page.

  • The robustness of switch reboots is improved.

  • When you move a switch from one network to another, you'll see a dialog confirming that the move was successful.

Bug fixes

  • We've fixed the following issues:

    • Inability to execute cable diagnostics on second-generation switches

    • User not redirected to status page if old switch ID no longer exists

    • Inability to apply template to newly added switch on a network

    • Inability to modify manual PoE power budget

    • ACLs that have the same name but different capitalization causing SQL errors

    • Switches not getting ACL port range cleared from the device

    • Undesirable behavior related to port mirroring for trunked ports on first-generation versus second-generation switches

    • Incorrect speed/duplex options for the DSW250-8P-2X
