NOTE  This firmware will automatically be applied to DSW series switches on networks that are set to the latest firmware tag. Automatic upgrades will occur during your network’s scheduled maintenance window(s).

New Features

• Support changing the primary VLAN from VLAN 1 to a user-specified primary VLAN.

• Static IP support.

  • When a switch is first deployed or factory reset, a local UI will be available for users to connect to and set a static IP address.

  • Once the switch has checked into Network Manager successfully, subsequent IP address management / primary VLAN management can be done from the Network Manager user interface.

Bug fixes

• Addressed an issue with the switch’s DHCP client where ICMPv6 packets that were sent to the switch early during the DHCPv4 handshake process could cause the switch to have stable network connectivity.
