Rackmounting a Datto Networking Appliance

Scope

This article provides rackmounting instructions for the Datto Networking Appliance.

Parts List

You will need the following parts:

A - 2x ‘L’ bracket ears
B - 4x bracket screws
C - 4x rack mounting screws with fasteners (not included with the Datto Networking Appliance kit)

Installation

  1. Fasten the L bracket ears (A) to their corresponding sides of the Datto Networking Appliance (1) using the the bracket screws (B).

  1. Use the rack mounting screws (C) to secure the Datto Networking Appliance to the rack.

  1. Attach the WiFi antennas (D) and LTE antennas (E) to the appliance. Make sure that they do not collide with the rack.

The Datto Networking Appliance may experience signal interference when stored inside a rack. To reduce interference, you have the option of remoting the DNA's antennas with a DNA Wide Band-Panel Antenna Extension Kit or a DNA Outdoor LTE Antenna Extension Kit.
